A Wonderful First Rehearsal Posted on August 24, 2016July 19, 2023 From Dr. Whitmire: Hello Singers- Thank you for a wonderful first rehearsal. What a great spirit filled the room. And what wonderful sounds you made. i hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did. As I mentioned last night, the Poulenc Gloria score that many of you bought is the complete score with piano accompaniment. What I thought I ordered was the less-expensive choral part (without piano accompaniment). I now realize that I could have furnished the bookstore more details, so I must accept part of the blame for the error. If you would like to return your copy for a refund, you have two weeks to do so. Or you may want to keep it and enjoy your more complete version of the score. Your can print a copy of the choral part here: http://petruccilibrary.ca/download.php?file=files/imglnks/caimg/e/e5/IMSLP309554-PMLP499558-Poulenc_F_-_Gloria__FP_177_.pdf I look forward to seeing Women this Saturday at 11:00 am. We will rehearse Nachtlied Miriam Poulenc Goria, Movement 1
