Encore Chorale Posted on May 4, 2014May 6, 2014 From Vicki: Hello everyone. I sing in the Encore Chorale at the Smithsonian and wanted to inform you about our upcoming concert. There are 130 singers in the group and Encore is an organization that promotes choral singing opportunities for people who are age 55 and older. The concert will consist mainly of secular music including songs from Porgy and Bess, Do I Hear a Waltz, Oh Light Awaken and much more. There will also be a sing-along for everyone and songsheets will be provided. The concert will be held this Friday, May 9 at the Church of the Epiphany beginning at 7:30. From past experiences, I would say that the concert will end about 9 P.M. and there is not any charge to attend.
